Description
The Comprehensive Center Companies are community-based facilities on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, providing Vision Services, Speech and Language Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy in a warm, caring environment. Our talented, dedicated therapists and our entire staff strive to meet the needs of our clients with sensitivity, commitment and concern.
We’re seeking an organized, experienced licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to provide specialized services for students with speech and language impairments or disabilities. Necessary services are diagnosed and plans of treatment are implemented for speech, language, fluency, voice and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities
• Write evaluations and reports on current ability levels and recommendations for intervention
• Develop and implement treatment plans in school and clinic settings for various speech and language disabilities and impairments
• Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, and to control/strengthen various muscles and breathing mechanisms
• Develop treatment goals and activities
Requirements
• Master’s Degree
• Bilingual a plus
• NYS Licensure
• Professional liability insurance
• Minimum 2 years previous experience working with children
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Office Suite and Outlook

Occupational Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Necessary services are diagnosed and plans of treatment are implemented for daily living training, perceptual retraining, functional cognitive retraining and more.
Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans in school and clinic settings for various disorders
• Instruct clients in techniques for more effective daily living and cognitive functioning
• Develop treatment goals and activities

Therapists - Therapists of all Vocations Needed!
Description
The Comprehensive Center Companies are community-based facilities on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, providing Vision Services, Speech and Language Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy in a warm, caring environment. Our talented, dedicated therapists and our entire staff strive to meet the needs of our clients with sensitivity, commitment and concern.
We’re seeking licensed, experienced therapists and clinicians to provide therapeutic services for our preschool and school age children. Clinicians and therapists will either work with the children inside our contracted school systems or in our own clinic.
Positions are available for the following disciplines:
• Physical Therapists
• Occupational Therapists
• Speech and Language Pathologists (TSHH/TSLD required)
• Licensed Child Psychologists with Bi-Lingual Extension in Spanish
• Certified Teacher of the Blind and Partially Sighted with Bi-Lingual Extension
• Licensed Audiologists (C.C.C./A.)
All positions require:
• Master’s Degree
• New York State Licensure in the appropriate specified discipline
• A minimum of 5+ years experience working with preschool and school age children
• Bi-Lingual Extension (various languages considered)
• Prior experience working with CPSE cases a plus
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Database systems
All positions are independent contractor positions (1099).

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapist

Our talented, dedicated therapists and our entire staff strive to meet the needs of our clients with sensitivity, commitment and concern.
We’re seeking an organized, experienced licensed Physical Therapist to develop, implement and coordinate therapy and treatment programs incorporating screening, evaluation and intervention.
Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in clients
• Evaluate clients strength, motor development and function, sensory perception and circulatory efficiency using tests and observations; document and produce reports and assess data
• Administer manual exercises, massage and decrease or prevent deformity and crippling
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred
• Bilingual a plus
• NYS Licensure
• Professional liability insurance
• Minimum 2 years previous experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Office Suite and Outlook
